Once upon a time, there was a farmer who made his living by growing grain. Every day, he would go out to the fields before dawn and would not return home until the sun was setting against the mountains. He went on in this way day after day, year after year.
Every evening when he came home, he was so tired that he didn’t even want to move. Sometimes he was too tired to say a word. He started to become discouraged, because even though he worked so hard every day, the crops were not growing very quickly. He worried that they would never grow at all.
